Musical Inspiration: Falling by Lacuna Coil
Behind this Image: You know when you just feel so sad that you want to go to a place where you feel happiest? I always seem to feel happy when I'm looking out into the wide free ocean. The free waves, the fish (even though you can't see them), the birds. Hearing and seeing families having fun on the beach with their dogs or couples walking hand in hand. So our beaches here in England aren't that brilliant and romantic but the concept is still there. I was listening to Lacuna Coil at the time and one part of the lyric really does fit with this image. "I Bring my body, Carry it into another world , I know I live...but like a stone I'm falling down." The water resembles the other world. You never know what will find out out in the deep dark ocean. Exotic fish, whales, dolphins. This is my idea of a new exciting world. Adventure. Something new - something happy. A whale is an animal that has the whole ocean to itself, who can go where it wants. This is why I used the whale. I could of done this with any animal really, but with water the only animal apart from Dolphin is the Whale. Plus, I love Orca Whales. The whale jumping out of the ocean and then splashing back in in the like a stone I'm falling down. The light house in the background is just for effect really and I love it there.
